Mini Farm Animals
Winchester Creek Farm is a family-owned and operated, 20-acre farm with rolling green pastures surrounded by the majestic Smoky Mountains. We raise adorable alpacas and a variety of mini farm animals — horses, cows, donkeys, and even a pig. We really enjoy sharing our farm and our love and knowledge of animals with others.

Queen Francine (Frannie) is our funniest and most curious girl. She and Muriel were rescued from a very bad place by some wonderful ladies who allowed us the privilege of bringing them to our farm to live with us. Frannie is the first to greet us everyday and will run across the pasture to come say hello. She loves the water and always has her head or her legs in the water buckets. She has the biggest heart and is the one to give comfort to the herd. She is a black Huacaya.
Muriel is a white Suri Alpaca and is Frannie’s best friend. The two of them have been through a lot together. We feel so blessed to have her living here with us. She’s a girl that knows nothing about giving people space; she gets so close sometimes you can feel her breath. She loves people and just cannot get close enough.
Cocoa Kiss is a Huacaya Alpaca and Maggie’s daughter. She was born on the farm in October 2021. She is a sweet little girl that stays close to her mother and the other adults in the herd. She loves sneaking up on the other alpacas and scaring them and then running away. You can almost see her smiling after she does it.
Teddy is a Huacaya Alpaca and Dolly’s son. He was born on the farm in March 2022. He is a very curious and brave little guy who has always loved people. He follows us around everywhere we go and loves playing with the alpaca guardian dogs Frankie and Charlie.
Jolene is a Suri Alpaca and the daughter or Aurora. She was born on the farm in May of 2022 with big dark eyes, long eyelashes and beautiful blond wavy fiber. With her long legs and regal posture she has the potential to be a natural show ring superstar like her mother. Jolene has tons of energy and is very bright and alert. She’s going to love playing in the pasture with Teddy soon.
Noodle is a Huacaya Alpaca and the daughter of Seraphina and sister to Angel and Gabriella. She was born on the farm in July 2021. Noodle had a rough start when she was born and spent her first month in the hospital with her mom. The veterinarians actually named her Noodle for her very calm and easy going spirit and the name stuck. Noodle is an incredible little fighter with an amazing personality. We have a saying here on the farm in her honor, “Keep calm and Noodle on,” that reminds us to not sweat the small things and remain resilient.
Seraphina is the matriarch of the herd. She’s very alert and always a bit aloof due to her wanting to make sure everyone in the herd is safe. She’s a dark fawn Huacaya Alpaca. Angel and Gabriella are her beautiful daughters.
Angel is a lot like her mother Seraphina in wanting to stay back and be a bit more cautious. She’s a beautiful fawn Huacaya Alpaca that has done really well in the show ring. She has gorgeous fiber that is getting better as she matures. Angel really makes sure to take care of her little sister Gabriella and Babycakes.
Gabriella is the most adorable little girl with big sparkling eyes. She gets visibly excited to get a treat and loves to make noises to show her happiness. She’s Seraphina’s daughter and Angel’s little sister. She’s a white Huacaya Alpaca with gorgeous fiber.
Baby Cakes is our little hippie girl. She’s so laid back and always looking like she doesn’t have a care in the world. She’s a white Suri Alpaca that looks like she has dreadlocks. Her best friend is Gabriella who is about her same age.
Breeeze is a gorgeous fawn Huacaya Alpaca who comes from a long line of famous family members. She hasn’t arrived on the farm yet, but we’re hoping she’ll be here sometime early next year. We feel very honored to have her join our herd.
Little Cinderella was born here on the farm and is the youngest cria born here in 2022. She’s very dainty and petite and is a beautiful Suri alpaca. She is extremely curious and will melt your heart with just one look from her big eyes.
JuJuBes (pronounced Ju Ju Bees) is a Suri alpaca and is extremely confident and very shy. She’s little more fearful of people than the other alpacas but she’s learning to trust us with slow and steady interaction and halter training.
Timber is a beautiful gray (with white and black markings) alpaca with many show ribbons already earned in his young life. Timber hangs out with Teddy here on the farm and will continue to compete in the show ring. Timber is very reserved and pretty shy. Thankfully he has outgoing Teddy as his wingman.
Jackson is a Mini Belted Galloway who never got his belt, but he’s just perfect to us. He’s a gentle, and sweet steer who loves to have his head scratched and his photo taken.
Kitty Kat is a Mini Belted Galloway who is a little shy, but loves people almost as much as she loves her Jackson. She enjoys sunning in the pasture on warm days and getting treats.
Baby Bug is a Mini Scottish Highland who was born very, very tiny. She needed a home where she could be spoiled and cared for – we’re so glad it’s ours. She’s a very curious girl who really enjoys hanging out with people and getting lots of attention.
Herbie is a Harlequin Mini Lop bunny. He loves his treats – his favorite are crunchy sweet potato sticks. Herbie is the happiest when he is playing with his ball with the bell in it and making lots of noise. He gives kisses and will beg for treats.
Clover is a Mini Lionhead Bunny. She has the craziest hair, so needs it brushed to keep her looking pretty. Clover is a shy but curious little girl who loves carrots. She is very quiet and would rather watch Herbie show off than do it herself.
Milton is a Valais x Horned Dorset cross sheep. He’s the biggest cuddle bug and he thinks he’s a dog. Milton is very affectionate and will follow you anywhere. His favorite treat is Wheat Thins and he knows a few tricks he likes to show off sometimes to get more treats.
Hans & Franz are twin brothers and are inseparable. They are Valais x Scottish Blaceface sheep. These two boys adore people and their companion dogs. They love napping all snuggled up together in the barn under the fans. Animal crackers are their favorite treat.
Pancake & Flapjack joined the farm the night before Easter Sunday in April 2021. They are brothers and were bottle babies that were rejected from their mom. We believe that they are a cross between Nubian and Boer goats. They are the most gentle and sweet little guys who love meeting people and getting attention.
Rookie is a sweet, adorable, and very loving Nubian goat. He got his name because he’s a “nubie”. A very clever guest came up with his name and it fits him perfectly. Rookie came to us as a bottle baby goat so he’s very attached to people. His best friends are Sully and Boo who stayed with him and comforted him during his first month on the farm. Rookie loves to walk on a lead and go on adventures.
Oreo and Gary were the first goats to join the farm. Gary (brown) is the quietest and shyest of the goats here. He’s also the only goat with a beard. Oreo (black & white) is the clown of the farm and our escape artist. Oreo can get out of almost any enclosure if he wants to and gets pretty proud of himself for doing so. Both Oreo and Gary love meeting people and getting pets and scratches. Oreo is the oldest goat on the farm and actually was raised as a baby with Baby Bug when she was a tiny calf. Those two loved hanging out with each other until Baby Bug moved to the big pasture with Billy Ray and the horses.
Boo & Sully are sister and brother and joined the farm in February 2022 as premies and under 2 pounds. They were bottle fed and raised with lots of love and care by the team here on the farm. They are pygmy goats and absolutely love playing and jumping all day long. The really love people and being petted and held.
Jasper & Joey are twin brothers and are adorable F2 Valais cross lambs. They will joining the Farmily the end of June 2022. We can’t wait for them to arrive so we can love and spoil them.
Dolly and Norman are our mini donkeys and they are a couple for life. Dolly is the gray one with a cross on her back and Norm is our “polka dotted” handsome guy. They joined the farm together when they were just six months old and have been inseparable ever since. They love to talk to each other across the pasture — the cutest donkey braying you’ll ever hear.
Billy Ray is an incredible mini donkey who joined the farm in the Fall of 2021. He reminds us so much of Donkey in the Shrek movies. He loves to play a game of picking our pockets and taking keys and wallets and running away with them. He loves hanging and with Baby Bug and the mini horses and chasing each other in the pasture. He’s a character!
Magic is the only gelding of our mini horse herd. We lovingly call him our Fabio because of the confidence he has around the ladies. He’s a pinto mini horse and is therapy certified. He loves wearing hats and will actually pose with them on.
Raven is a mini horse and is a leopard spotted beauty. She actually changes coloring in the winter and the spring depending on the thickness of her coat. She’s our Beyoncé of the horses. She’s always striking a pose and has a beautiful mane and tail. Raven is very much in love with Magic, so you rarely see him without her.
Sweetie is our adorable little Pinto mini with the biggest heart and gentlest spirit. She loves playing mom to Ember and Gypsy Rose, even though she’s only 6 months older than Ember. Sweetie is therapy certified and just loves meeting people.
Ember is the most curious and funny Appaloosa mini you’ll ever meet. She’s very confident and runs like a little race horse with her tail in the air when she’s released into the pasture. She is in therapy training and doing very well.
Gypsy Rose is the newest member of our mini horse herd. She’s also a Pinto mini who Sweetie and Ember just love. She’s very calm and gentle. She will also be trained as a therapy horse.
Penelope is a Mini Juliana pig and is as cute as can be. She knows lots of tricks, including playing the piano and loves to hang out with our English Bulldogs in the house. She’s the sweetest and smartest girl who will do anything for Cheerios or apple slices.
Elvis Pigsley is a pink mini Julianna pig with a giant heart. He’s a little shy but once he gets to know you he warms right up. He absolutely loves Penelope and having his pen right next to hers. He’s learning new tricks and doing great on going for walks on a leash and a halter.
Albert is a very handsome and intelligent mini Julianna pig. He loves to learn new things and masters them quickly. In addition to using a litter box and walking on a leash, he is learning how to spin, sit, get up, and give kisses on command. He’s also learning to play the piano, push a ball, to bowl, and many other fun skills. He loves learning and doing new puzzles for treats. Just like his namesake — he’s one smart pig!
We fondly refer to our flock of chickens and Guinea Hens as “The Girls”. We have a wide variety of chicken breeds that lay, colored, speckled, or dark brown eggs that we sell in our gift shop. The Girls are hand raised from chicks and handled from a very young age so they are very docile, love people and will eat from your hand. They are allowed to roam freely (free range) around the farm during the day and sleep in their coops at night so safe from predators. We have 3 Guinea Hens (dark gray with white polka dots) that are the guardians of the flock. They will make lots of loud noises that send alarms to the flock if there is danger like a hawk, owl, or ground predator. The Girls are always waiting for treats and pets when you visit.
Frankie & Charlie are Maremma Sheepdogs and are brothers. They have lived with our alpacas since they were puppies. They take their job of protecting our alpacas from predators and harm very seriously. The alpacas adore them and can be found cuddling with them in the barn.
Lily is a Maremma Sheepdog and hangs out with Wolfie and the sheep. She’s our escape artist and can climb any fence she wants to if she feels like she needs to roam the farm. She is very protective of “her” sheep and makes sure Wolfie does his job too.
Sam is our official Farm Greeter. He’s a tuxedo Goldendoodle that loves everyone and everything he meets. He’s a very happy boy and smiles and cuddles to show his affection. Sam is training to be a certified therapy dog and also learning lots of tricks along the way.
Thor is a Maremma Sheepdog and is Loki’s brother. Lilly and Charlie are his parents. He and his brother are currently in training to become livestock guardians like their mother and father. They get lots of time to be puppies and play too.

Reba is an English Bulldog and was raised from a one day old puppy here on the farm. She’s a very loving and curious girl who loves meeting and greeting people. She’s been training to be a farm greeter with Sam. Reba is the Great Granddaughter of the Facebook famous Little Miss Cali and was bred and raised here on the Farm
